£15 donation to Bursary Fund - Funding outdoor experiences so no young person misses out

The Martin Beale Bursary Fund celebrates and continues Martin Beale’s lifelong passion for helping young people experience the water and the outdoors. His legacy lives on through this fund, which is dedicated to removing financial barriers so that every child—regardless of background or circumstance—has the opportunity to take part in meaningful, life-changing outdoor experiences.

Through our programmes, young people are supported to build confidence, resilience, and independence, while developing essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. These transferable skills play a vital role in success at school, in the workplace, and in everyday life.

The fund provides partial financial support to help young people access our activities. Priority is given to young people located within a 20-mile radius, although applications from all areas are warmly welcomed and considered.
