RYA Keelboat Instructor Endorsement

This course is for Instructors who initially qualified and would like to teach the National Sailing Scheme in Keelboats. On successful completion through continuous assessment, your Instructor award will be endorsed by the RYA. To complete this course, you'll need to hold an RYA Dinghy Instructor award as the minimum following pre-requisite qualification,

The course will be delivered over two days, starting at 09:00 and finishing at 16:30 each day.

This course will give you the knowledge and skills required so that you can confidently teach RYA Keelboat courses. The keelboat course will cover both ashore and afloat sessions, including how to deliver a good briefings and debriefings and how best to effectively run sessions to improve student performance and maximise confidence.
