Are you seeking to become a Paddlesport Instructor? Our PaddleUK Paddlesport Instructor Award will teach you the practical skills necessary for delivering beginner sessions in accordance with the requirements of a group.

This course will teach you:

  • Kitting up a group
  • Initial familarisation activities
  • Games and activities to support learning
  • Using mini journeys to encourage adventure and exploration

You will gain a Paddlesport Instructor qualification which will enable you to manage paddlesport taster/starter sessions within clubs, centres or other organisations in:

  • Very sheltered Water environments
  • Craft deemed suitable for a first-time experience

Method of Assessment

You will participate in three assessment tasks:

  1. Professional Standards
  2. Rescue Skills
  3. Personal Skills
