Oakwood After School Sailing Club

Oakwood After School Sailing Club

After-school sailing for Oakwood School hosted by Cobnor Activities Centre Trust

Join us for a fun-filled after-school club designed to build confidence on the water. Students will sail in single and double-handed Fusion and Hartley dinghies, with occasional keelboat sailing in our Hawk boats. No experience necessary. If there is no wind, we will head out paddling, kayaking or enjoy some fun on our giant paddleboard.

  • When: Monday Evenings
  • Ages: Key Stage 2 Students (Years 3-6)
  • Cost £150 for a 5 week Block

To purchase the 5 week block, choose the starting date (9th June or 28th April)

Dates:

9th June, 16th June, 23rd June, 30th June, 7th July

28th April, 5th May, 12th May, 19th May, 26th May

What to Bring:

  • A Towel
  • A T-Shirt and Shorts to change into to wear under the wetsuit.
  • Water shoes or old trainers for the water (flip flops, crocs, sandals or similar are not suitable).

Schedule:

  • Arrive at Cobnor Activity Centre by 16:50 for a prompt 17:00 start.
  • Children will arrive at our centre and participate in around an hour of Sailing!
  • Pick-up from Cobnor Activity Centre at 19:00.

Upon booking, a medical form will be emailed. Upon booking you will be asked to give consent for our staff to pick up your children from the school location.
