February Half Term Sailing Camp

February Half Term Sailing Camp

Course Introduction

Our February Half Term Residential Sailing Camps offer a 3 day intensive sailing program for 11-14 year olds, providing dedicated tuition in a variety of boats to get back ready for the summer season. This is an ideal opportunity for those who want to develop their technical sailing skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The course will include:

  • Sailing in both single and double-handed boats
  • Continuous tuition following the RYA syllabus
  • Practice and skills development in Chichester Harbour
  • Fun team-building activities in the evenings.
  • Evening social activities

This residential camp will allow participants to progress in their sailing, building on their foundation knowledge and skills, with the opportunity for personalized instruction.

Pre-requisites and Assumed Knowledge

  • Due to the time of year, the sailing will be focused heavily on skill development, and therefore sailors should hold RYA Stage 3 or above. If your child is a regulars sailor, but doesn't hold RYA qualifications, please contact tom@cobnor.com to check suitability.

Ability After Course

By the end of the week, participants will have enhanced their sailing skills, gained confidence in different types of boats, and have a deeper understanding of sailing techniques and safety, setting them up well to the season ahead, whether this is to begin racing or undertake further RYA courses.
