Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) + Certified Forestry (+F) First Aid Course

This 1-day course will enable the candidate to qualify in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) RQF Level 3 Award (6 hour) and will include the Certified Forestry (+F) First Aid Course Module (2 hour) bolt-on training.

  • Part 1 - Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) - 6 hours  
  • Part 2 - Certified Forestry (+F) First Aid Course - 2 hours

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) 
Upon successful completion and assessment qualification valid for 3 years. RQF Level 3 Award - 1 day / 6-hour course
This course covers the following topics to include;

  • Primary survey - the unconscious casualty
  • Responsibilities & Reporting
  • CPR & AED
  • Minor injuries
  • Shock & bleeding
  • Burns
  • Choking
  • Epilepsy

 Enables delegates to become Emergency First Aiders and satisfies HSE requirements.

Certified Forestry (+F) First Aid Course
The forestry specific module has been designed to provide the knowledge and competence for a learner to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural environment. This qualification is designed to supplement a First Aider's existing First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and covers the recommended topics stated in the Forestry Commission First Aid policy 2015.
