Course Introduction

This 1-day course enables participants to qualify in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) with an RQF Level 3 Award. Ideal for individuals looking to gain essential first aid skills, this course is designed to provide a prompt, safe, and effective response to emergencies in the workplace.

Course Content

Participants will cover the following topics:

  • Primary survey of the unconscious casualty
  • Responsibilities and reporting
  • CPR and AED usage
  • Minor injuries
  • Shock and bleeding
  • Burns
  • Choking
  • Epilepsy

Pre-requisites and Assumed Knowledge

  • No prior first aid experience is required.

Ability After Course

Upon successful completion, participants will:

  • Be qualified to handle emergency situations in the workplace.
  • Hold an RQF Level 3 Award qualification in Emergency First Aid at Work, valid for 3 years.
